NOD32 ESET Smart Security 3.0.642.0 Final

Новый виток холодных отношений между США и Россией многие уже называют опять "холодной войной". Не обошла эта волна и компьютерное ПО. Как новости с фронта - сводки новостей про выпуск новых версий продуктов. Вы спросите: о чём это я? Речь идет о "противостоянии" двух крупнейших поставщиков пользовательского антивирусного ПО: компании ESET и Лаборатории Касперского.

Летний дебют антивирусного комплекса Евгения Касперского седьмой линейки оказался удачным. И такой
расклад никак не может устраивать компанию ESET, по сей день почивавшую на лаврах своей второй линейки продуктов (2.хх.хх). Очевидными достоинствами этой линейки считаются: скорость сканирования, нетребовательность к ресурсам и простота интерфейса. Но "спокойные" времена прошли и вторая линейка антивирусов NOD32, не имеющая файрвола, фильтр трафика http у которой не обновлялся с 2004 (!) года, больше не может на равных конкурировать с новыми продуктами конкурентов.

Сложившаяся ситуация заставляет ESET искать новые решения в своих продуктах, но новый "велосипед" изобрести сложно - все возможные нововведения уже внедрены в программных продуктах Лаборатории Касперского. ESET пришлось ускорить и усилить свои работы над третьей (3.ХХ.) линейкой антивирусов, работа над новым поколением программ в вялотекущем состоянии велась уже около года.

Вы спросите: почему я отмечаю именно противостояние этих двух продуктов? По моему мнению, антивирусы этих двух компаний на рынке пользовательского антивирусного ПО идут плечом к плечу - причем давно, и идут во главе всей бесчисленно разросшейся массы антивирусов.

"Монструозность", бесполезность, ресурсоемкость - вот только малая часть минусов антивирусов, конкурирующих с двумя вышеназванными антивирусами. Сюда же можно отнести и размеры их дистрибутивов (до 100мб), и количество процессов в оперативной памяти (до 20 штук), и нелогичность интерфейса и т.д., и этот список легко можно продолжить.

Возвращаясь к антивирусам ESET третьей линейки можно сказать следующее. Интерфейс программы из простого у второй линейки несколько усложнился, но это и неизбежно, в связи с усложнением самого продукта. За интерфейс - пять. За работу файрвола - три с плюсом, пока не углубляясь почему (не в рамках этой статьи - тестирую его с апреля 2007г.). Скорость сканирования все также на высоте - пять баллов. Эффективность антивируса очень близка ко второй линейке - четыре балла.

Наверно из основных параметров все - мне кажется не плохая альтернатива KAV/KIS 7.0. Но в заключении отмечу, что интернет своему сыну открываю на ОС с антивирусом KIS 7.0, только в этом случае я относительно спокоен за Windows.

Антивирус Nod 32: Как реанимировать халявные зеркала!!

Насчет зеркал, находящихся в блэклисте. Их создатели, не спешите забрасывать свои творения! Если зеркало попало в блэклист, оно еще не потеряно. Все изложенное ниже справедливо не для тех зеркал, которые NODView показывает, как хорошие и валидные, а только для тех, которые принимает сам NOD32, на которых находятся последние валидные базы, которые не заброшены, но сами адреса их находятся в блэклисте.
Дело в том, что блэклист NODа представляет собой зашифрованную последовательность адресов, а его фильтр - простой контекстный поиск. Если изменить адрес зеркала так, чтобы оно было обозначено по-другому, но тем не менее адрес распознавался NICом, NOD его пропустит.

Существуют некоторым образом классические приемы маскирования Интернет-адресов. Остается перебрать их и выяснить, какие поддерживает NOD. Я протестировал те приемы, что работали в старых браузерах. Сразу хочу огорчить: записи адреса хексами (типа %6B%61%64%72%2E%6B%75%72%61%67%69%6E%6F%2E%72%75%2F%62%6C%69%6B) NOD не понимает, служебные символы Си, вроде \n\t\x08 фильтруются. Кстати, для списка серверов обновлений NOD применяет определенные правила. Так, он идентифицирует адрес по начальным символам http://. Если их нет, он не считает строку адресом и вставить ее в список обновления не даст. Также он проверяет, есть ли в конце символ /, а если нет, подставляет его. Это мелочи, но возможно, они кого-то на что-нибудь натолкнут.
Теперь перейдем к результатам исследования. Извращаться будем над зеркалом http://www.NOD32upd.smtp.ru/ (оно находится в блэклисте, желающие могут проверить). Это единственное зеркало, что я нашел, которое, несмотря на принадлежность к черному списку, продолжает исправно обновляться.
Из тех способов, что были испробованы, NOD понимает, корректно интерпретирует и пропускает следующие:
1. Собачка
Этот способ основан на добавлении в URL символа @. В протоколе HTTP он используется для передачи на сервер логина и пароля для доступа к запароленным местам сайта. Запрос формируется так: http://login:password@URL. Добавление же @ к обычному адресу заставляет просто игнорировать все, предшествующее ей. То есть запрос будет выглядеть следующим образом:
http://www.microsoft.com@www.NOD32upd.smtp.ru/
До собачки можно писать все, что вздумается (не забывая про начало адреса http://).
У многих (практически у всех) зеркал забанены не только имена, но и айпи-адреса. Ничего, собственно, не мешает применить собачку к ип (предварительно определив его, например, банальным ping узел):

Все это уже спокойно проходит проверку.
2. Скрытие IP-адреса.
2.1. Перевод систем счисления
По большому счету айпи – простая совокупность чисел. Так как для компьютера существует несколько систем счисления, неважно, в какой будет записан ип. Переведем группы ип в шестнадцатеричную и восьмеричную системы (первой в адресе предшествует 0х, второй - 0):

2.2. Деструктурирование
Теперь усвойте тот факт, что переведенный ип может быть записан и без группировки с одинаковой эффективностью:

И напоследок самое интересное. К шестнадцатеричному варианту в начале можно добавить произвольное количество произвольных цифр, например

Первые 0123456789 добавлены от балды, максимально проверенная последовательность – 10 символов, а возможно, и больше.
Приведенные выше варианты можно (а иногда и нужно) смешивать между собой. Например, ссылку
http://www.microsoft.com@0x44738492734D44CB40A/~gir/mirror/
с первого раза не поймает не только NOD, но даже и не слишком опытный шифровальщик. Если какой-то вариант вдруг не сработает, нужно пробовать другой, третий, так, с некоторыми зеркалами (вроде kadr.kuragino.ru/blik/) способ 1.1 по непонятной причине не обходит блэклист.

P.S. Несмотря на все рекомендации по скрытию урлов современные браузеры не открывают почти ничего из них, только комбинации «собачка-ип» или «собачка-8ип». Сделано это во избежание эксплоитов. Таким образом, ESET просто надо повторить код браузеров, чтобы отлавливать такие ип, а это недолго. Скорее всего, первые такие ип просто попадут в блэклист, и пройдет некоторое время, прежде чем в есет просекут ситуацию и напишут фильтр.

Ответ:

Создать зеркало обновлений можно только в NOD32 Administrator. Для стандартной версии нужно использовать Генератор обновлений для NOD32 (от Rocket'а). Перед созданием зеркала (стандартным методом) нужно хотя бы 1 раз обновить базы (любым стандартным способом, т.е. с офсайта или с любого типа зеркала). Далее: заходим в NOD32 Control Center. Там выбираем из меню элемент "Update" (обновления). В нем выбираем подменю Mirror (зеркало). Открываем "Setup" (настройки). Внизу выставляем галочку "Create update mirror" (Создавать зеркало обновлений). Затем можно задать папку в которой будет создано зеркало (например C:\NOD32Upd).

P.S.

Файлы с локального зеркала можно носить на компьютер, не подключенный к интернету. После чего в качестве сервера для обновлений использовать директорию с этими файлами.

Заходим в NOD32 Control Center. Там выбираем из меню элемент
"Update" (обновления). Там выбираем подменю "Update". Открываем "Setup" (настройка). Нажимаем кнопку "Servers" (серверы). В появившемся окне жмём на кнопку "Add" (добавить). Вписываем туда путь к обновлениям (например C:\NOD32Upd\ (локальное зеркало) или http://some.site/some/path/ (интернет зеркало)). Потом нажимаем на OK. Затем в настройках обновлений выбираем добавленный сервер и обновляем базы.

Добавлять зеркала обновлений можно в любой версии NOD32.

Ещё коммерческие версии NOD32 выкладываются на свободное неофициальное скачивание на различных сайтах. Во-первых, возможностями. Во-вторых, ограничением по времени использования. В-третьих, базами обновлений. Если вы обновите коммерческую версию с триального зеркала, программа станет триальной. Лечится это обновлением программы с оф.серверов ESET, либо с зеркала, снятого с коммерческой версии. В-четвертых, все обновления триальной версии весят порядка 2-3 мегабайт.
Коммерческая версия не ограничена по времени, но для обновления с оффсайта ей нужны имя и пароль.
